Installing

From ADC

As of version 0.0.2, Abstract provides binary packages for the following platforms:

  • Debian GNU/Linux (unstable/sid) in DPKG format;
  • Ubuntu GNU/Linux (gutsy/7.10) in DPKG format;
  • Windows (Vista/2003 Server/XP/2000) in MSI format.

We try to follow packaging guidelines for the supported platforms to the maximum possible degree. Feel free to file a bug or mail us, if you find packaging policy violation without a corresponding disclaimer.

Abstract can also be installed on most GNU/Linux distributions from binary tarball.

Finally, our program can be installed from source on a huge list of platforms. Please see Developing Abstract for details.
