Downloading

We are grateful to SourceForge for the ability to use their extensive mirror network to host Abstract release files. Here is the link to the latest windows package.

Microsoft VC 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package

If you are installing abstract for the first time, you will also need a few files, which are required by our program, but are not present on Windows systems by default. Please download from Microsoft and run 'vcredist_x86.exe', if you haven't already.

Installing

The previous step should have produced abstract-0.0.2.en-US.win32.msi. Double-click it to install Abstract. A desktop shortcut with name "Abstract 0.0.2" will appear. The downloaded MSI package can also be used to repair Abstract installation.

Uninstalling

To remove Abstract from your computer, go to Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs and select Remove for "Abstract Accounting 0.0.2".
